This is how Elon Musk describes robots in the near future

What is expected of the new Tesla Robot
In early October, Elon Musk gave a lengthy interview at the Code Conference. An event that served as a starting point to learn about the tycoon's new predictions for the future.

What will the first prototype of the Tesla Bot look like?
At some point in 2022 its launch is scheduled according to the words of Elon Musk. For now, only a few characteristics of what this robotic humanoid will represent are known.
Essentially it will be characterized by coping with the morphology of a typical human. It will weigh between 60 and 70 kilos approximately with a height between 1.70 to 1.76 in particular.
The special function of the Tesla Bot will be to carry up to 20 kilos in weight. You can easily transport it from one side to the other with a maximum speed of 8 km / h.
It is equipped with a camera to monitor what it does and the trajectory it draws. Also, instead of a human face, a circular screen that will indicate the tasks that it will be carrying out.
In regard to its hardware, it has been postulated that it is made of novel and lightweight materials. Thus, the aerodynamics and motility of the robot will be greatly enhanced.
In parallel, the software will be based on the well-known "Autopilot" system of Tesla cars. It is the same one that leads the automated processes of such products and that has generated so many results.
Could it be another unfulfilled promise?
Much expectation has been raised around the issue of the Tesla Bot, recently christened Optimus. However, it is not the first novel and futuristic project that Musk guarantees for a near time.
