Sebastián Yatra will be the protagonist of a series
The series will be a musical that will show how a couple will break a spell
Sebastián Yatra will be in charge of starring in one of the new Netflix series, together with Mónica Maranillo, a Spanish singer (La Voz Kids), and Nia Correia (Operación Triunfo 2020), called " Once upon a time… But not anymore". The premiere will be on March 11.
The creator of the series is Manolo Caro, the same creator of ''La casa de las flores'' The first images of the series were published by the streaming platform.
This new series is cataloged as an anti-fairy tale, by Caro, since it is a musical comedy that will readapt the typical classic fairy tales.
The production is in the hands of Noc Noc Cinema, María José Cordova, Rafael Ley, Manolo Caro and Andrea Toca.
You can enjoy the story of two lovers who tragically experienced a separation, to break a spell that fell on the town where they lived. After a long time, two tourists arrive at the place and put at risk the only alternative that exists to achieve the mission of breaking the spell.
In a statement published by Netflix, Manolo Caro assured that this is the most honest project he has carried out in his work as an author. He added that, at this moment in which he lives, he felt the need to sing, go crazy, have fun, laugh, dance, and he captured it in 'Once upon a time... But not anymore'.
Caro revealed that he is very happy to have the chance to return to the hilarious comedy that has given him a lot of satisfaction and he is sure that the public that follows his work will understand what he is saying just by watching the first few minutes of the serie.
The cast also includes Asier Etxeandia (Pain and Glory), the Mexican Mariana Treviño (Club de Cuervos), Rossy de Palma (Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown), Mariola Fuentes (Someone has to die), the Chilean actress Daniela Vega (A fantastic woman), Itziar Castro (Vis a Vis) and many more.
