Keep a healthy brain with these exercises
If we say that the heart is the engine that moves our body, the brain acts as software and this, like computers, tends to overload.
Every day we struggle with stress, conflicts and decision-making, and for this reason it is useful to oxygenate the brain.
When our brain does not receive the adequate amount of oxygen, this will be reflected in various failures that will affect our ability to act and respond. In even more extreme cases, poor oxygenation can even lead to cerebrovascular failure.
There are many practical and inexpensive ways to help our brains stay in shape, it just takes a little dedication. And to make it easier, I invite you to know what tools you have at your fingertips, to give your brain function a better capacity.
Exercises to oxygenate the brain
There are several ways to give your brain a better rhythm, and that is because exercises are a very simple tool that will benefit you much more, compared to the little time they require.
1. Simulated yawn
It consists of making the same gestures that we execute when having a natural yawn, inhaling air and articulating the jaw.
In this exercise we place our fingers on the cheeks and apply a little force on the sides, generating muscle decompression. This relaxes the entire head area and in turn the brain.
2. Hike
Walking is a very good exercise that influences circulation and joints, but it is not just about walking to work. Take a specific time when you walk at a fast pace, while you work your breath.
The emphasis on breathing is vital, since it directly influences certain brain areas.
3. Anaerobic exercises
These also include walking, but if you want a little more performance, you can practice routines that integrate push- ups, sit-ups, jogging and many more.
Remember that the secret is to execute intense repetitions of short duration.
Exercises that speed up our heart rate and circulation, inject more oxygen throughout our body, therefore, the brain benefits.
4. Cross March
You do not need to move from one place, just raise your knees one after another swinging your arms, in this synchronized way touch the opposite knee with your hands.
This exercise stimulates the two hemispheres of the brain, thus executing physical and cerebral activity at the same time.
One of its main benefits is that it strengthens your coordination, and in turn manages to make your muscles relax.
5. Breath
Simple, but effective, taking deep breaths and releasing them slowly is a decompression exercise, but it also helps to empty the mind and oxygenate.
This practice requires no more than a few repetitions and will be the most effective if done in an open space.
These are some of the simplest exercises that you can start to implement, the ideal is to create a daily routine that leads you to a constant practice of them.
Some natural teas to oxygenate the brain

This is how its consumption is highly recommended, since it also works with an anti-inflammatory for the brain and improves its functioning.
Linden tea
It is a natural relaxant, which we can consume regularly and not only at critical moments as is customary.
This helps calm your nerves, reduces stress, calms anxiety, and helps you deal with emotional pressure along with moments of tension.
Jasmine tea
It acts directly on the mood, it is an antidepressant that strengthens your emotional state, and thanks to its relaxing properties it also fights stress.
You can apply it to calm the nerves, since its smell and taste cause tranquility.
Rosemary tea
Finally, we have a natural stimulant, which basically injects energy into the nervous system, improving its work rate.
This positively influences concentration, mood and memory, however, its consumption should be consulted if you have any pathology.
Some techniques to clear the mind
1. Implement cycles of distraction
The overload of activities in a continuous rhythm without pause, produces collapse, failures and fatigue, therefore your brain must take moments of rest.
The best way to release pressure is by doing some activity that you find entertaining or relaxing. Throughout the day take small breaks that do not affect your work rhythm, and distract your mind with an activity that blocks stress.
2. Order and plan
Chaos affects everything from our mood to responsiveness, and clutter only intensifies stress levels.
If you feel overwhelmed, take a moment and go out into an open space, list your tasks and start doing one at a time.
Directing your concentration to a specific task improves your efficiency, and makes the brain load more bearable.
3. Prioritize your approach
We are used to letting our minds be flooded with problems or future activities and this only generates stress and exhaustion.
It is not bad to plan, however, you cannot let this be your thinking 24 hours a day. Take a few specific hours just for it, and clear your mind with the rest of the time.
Keep your focus according to the highest priority and do not despair of trying to have control over everything. Let each moment have its mental load at the right time, and not before.
