Arena Breakout is a game with a different and unique premise.

Popular developer and publisher Tencent has finally announced more details about the long-awaited mobile strategy FPS Arena Breakout. After hosting a successful beta in August last year, the title is finally ready for another round of closed beta tests before the official launch in China on July 26.

Arena Breakout is, at first glance, somewhat indistinguishable from its contemporaries in the genre.

However, this particular shooter hopes to add some spice to what has become a relatively similar market, at least for mobile. Arena Breakout plans to do so by taking inspiration from a much-loved PC exclusive FPS, Escape From Tarkov.

For those who haven't heard of it, Escape From Tarkov is a hyper-realistic tactical shooter that involves leveling up a custom-made soldier in RPG form, which you'll send to various battlefields to loot all the gear. possible without dying and leaving with your head on your shoulders.

It is a game that is going to look quite promising.

There are no respawns here, so the gear you're carrying could be permanently lost if you end up dying. This risk-reward factor makes the game quite intense and a lot of fun.

Since no other mobile shooter has attempted to emulate this experience, Arena Breakout takes that premise and brings it right into your pocket.

Nearly all of the mechanics discussed above are in Arena Breakout and will be introduced with the same breadth, bringing Tarkov's adrenaline-fueled gameplay to a wider and more accessible audience.

When will it be available?

If this game sounds interesting to you, you can now sign up for the final round of closed beta testing that began on May 17. To do this, you just have to visit the official website of the game.

Meanwhile, the full launch will take place on July 26 this year, exclusively for Chinese audiences, with no word on localization for other countries.
