Preparation method

Before starting the preparation, we must place the oven in preheated to 180 degrees Celsius both above and below.

Caramel preparation method

  1. In a small saucepan or pot we place 5 tablespoons of sugar, which we will melt over high heat.

  2. When the sugar begins to take color, we lower the intensity of the fire.

  3. We will be beating the sugar mixture until it is golden.

  4. At the end we will place the caramel in the molds, or the selected mold, and then the mixture of the flan that we had resting.

  5. You can put a little water in the casserole along with the sugar so that it does not stick, an amount that does not exceed the sugar.

I proceed from baking the flan

1. We use a deep tray which we will arrive with a quantity of 3 fingers of water and inside this the molds with our flan.

2. Having them in a bain-marie, we will bake for an approximate time of 25 minutes.

3. For the verification of our Flans we will use a pastry needle or a wooden toothpick if these come out without residues, they will be ready.

4. We will remove the flans from the oven and place them to cool at room temperature until they are completely cold.

5. After this we take them to the fridge and let them cool until the next day.

6. We unmold our puddings and put a little crushed nougat on them as decoration.
