  • 2 tablespoons of chamoy.

  • 200 grams of tamarinds.

  • 4 tablespoons of chili powder.

  • ¼ cup of water.

Step by step of the snacks with 5 ingredients

  1. Cut the tamarinds into small pieces.

  2. In a medium size pot, add water, chamoy and chili powder.

  3. Mix well and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly to prevent it from sticking in places.

  4. When the preparation thickens, crush the tamarinds with a spoon to obtain a paste and integrate them into the mixture.

  5. Turn off the heat and wait for it to cool down to room temperature.

  6. At this point, take it to the freezer for 15 minutes so that they acquire consistency.

  7. At the end of time, form balls with your hands. If necessary you can moisten them slightly to form.

  8. Take them to a bowl with chili powder and salt. Move so that they are impregnated.

  9. Make as many balls as you can and cover them with the Chile and salt. And that's it!
