Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry

  • 10 milliliters of honey

  • 500 grams of cream cheese

  • Wheat flour

Preparation method:

We will start as usual by placing the oven to preheat to about 180 degrees Celsius.

After this, we will need a flat and rigid surface, already having this ready, now we will start with the preparation.

  1. We sprinkle wheat flour on our chosen place to prevent the puff pastry sheet from sticking.

  2. It is advisable to keep the sheet for a few hours in the refrigerator, since if it is cold it is easier to work it.

  3. Once the area is ready, we place our puff pastry sheet and with the help of a roller we flatten it as much as possible, it should be thin enough that it looks a bit transparent.

  4. Once our puff pastry has been stretched, we will cut it to the size of the mold we want and with the help of a kitchen brush we put a little honey to add the sweet flavor. It is recommended to lower the thickness of the honey with a little water and placing it in the microwave for a few seconds.

  5. If you don't have a kitchen brush, a paintbrush is a good option as long as it's smooth.

  6. Once the puff pastry is cut, we take it to the mold, which must have baking paper or butter spread all over it.

  7. We place a puff pastry on the bottom and on top of it a layer of cream cheese and then another layer of puff pastry, like this continuously until it reaches the edge of the mold.

  8. During this process, when placing a layer of puff pastry, prick each layer with the help of a fork. This will prevent them from puffing up in the oven.

  9. It is ideal to refrigerate the cream cheese before starting and not remove it until use, so it will not be so watery when you apply it.
