"Encanto": The soundtrack of the animated film tops the Billboard chart
"Enchantment" the new Disney + movie has been a success since its premiere, obtaining many viewers in less than 2 months.
Recently, the soundtrack of the animated film climbed on the Billboard charts to reach No. 1.
It is not very common to see series and movie soundtracks dominating in this top, in fact, the last time this happened was in 2019 with the soundtrack that participated in "Frozen 2". For this reason, the participants of the band upon realizing this great news felt very privileged and expressed all their joy.
The songs for the famous Colombian-inspired movie were composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Germaine Franco, two great composers who have authored famous Latin American hits.
The soundtrack topped Adele on the Billboards
The members of the soundtrack of "Encanto" had to work hard for months to make one of the best playlists of animated films, it was not easy, but they managed to fulfill their objective.
In addition to being the most talked about group in the last two months, they managed to surpass one of the most successful artists of today “Adele” who was previously topping the Billboard charts.
This has been a great feat for the coordinators of the film's soundtrack.

The film's soundtrack is phenomenal, and they managed to fully exploit their potential during their music production stage.
The lyrics are composed solely by Germaine Franco and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who have worked hard and were in charge of coupling the melody with each letter of the songs to convey the essence they wanted.
The genre that they mostly implemented to structure their repertoire was La champeta, a folk genre from the Colombian area that has represented their culture for centuries.
This is the first time the genre has managed to dominate the top spot on a music platform.
Since the film was released in theaters, the soundtrack began to increase its number of reproductions, however, the phenomenon happened when it was published on the Disney + streaming platform, it was adding millions of reproductions until reaching the No. 1 position from Billboard.

An interesting fact about the film's repertoire is that absolutely all the songs are in their native language "Latin Spanish", this is one of the few Disney + movies that has absolutely its entire playlist in Spanish.
The two famous composer musicians were in charge of making 8 excellent songs that are named: "The Madrigal family", "In the deep / weight", "A Magical gift" "No one talks about Bruno", "Two caterpillars", "Inspiration",“My charm” and “Only you, Colombia”.
Those were the songs that are part of the astonishing playlist of the “Encanto” soundtrack, which featured the interpretation of great regional artists such as Sebastián Yatra and Carlos Vives.
