This date commemorates the liberation of the well-known 13 colonies that Great Britain had in its power in times prior to 1776. In this way, a single nation known as the United States of America was formed. All this was given through the document entitled "Declaration of Independence".

Although July 4 is the date on which the independence and autonomy of the United States is commemorated, the reality is that this nation spent more than 7 years fighting against Great Britain to achieve its independence. In this way, on April 9, 1784, the Peace Agreement between both nations is declared, and, finally, the USA becomes a totally free country.

Even so, the United States remembers July 4 as the most emblematic date of the entire process of independence of the nation. Therefore, this event is usually widely celebrated both in this country and internationally.
