Rodrigo Londoño, known as Timochenko, sent a message to the ex-combatants who are continuing the peace process not to withdraw from the agreements. I affirm that the commitment is that the agreements are fulfilled in their entirety and I assure that the dissidents will only bring security problems and not the true path.

Timochenko assured that the FARC need to be united at this time and continue with the peace accords. That the solution to the conflict is political and that it is not necessary to deviate from the social path. In addition, he assures in a statement that La Paz is a ship that must overcome several storms.

In the statement, he asked all Colombians for help so that together they corner the enemies of peace and those who motivate war. He recalled that no peace agreement in the world has been fulfilled without the support of the people, ensuring that the fight for reconciliation and true peace is in its best stage.

Faced with the statement from the former FARC chiefs, Timochenko assured that it is an erratic decision to return to war and that the golden birds they are painting are false.

In the statement, he warns that he detests war and does not want more deaths in the country. He assures that the only ones happy with this guerrilla reshaping are the extreme right, which wants to dissolve the peace accords, but that the Colombian people are the ones who have the floor and do not want the war to return.

Uribe, the alleged main contradictor of peace in Colombia, has constantly stated that the peace accords be modified, destroyed or radically changed. However, so far Duque's commitment has been to continue with the agreements, especially due to international pressure in the face of these events.
