The big question that arose after the Saudi refineries came under attack is about the defense capabilities of the United States' anti-aircraft systems. Its mission in these countries is to stop enemy attacks, but this did not happen in defense of one of its main partners.

A security expert working for the Russian defense ministry stated that the Patriot and Aegis systems do not meet the stated characteristics and have low effectiveness in fighting small air targets and cruise missiles.

The United States has 88 Patriot systems launchers, which are located in the northern part of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, 3 destroyers equipped with the Aegis missile defense system and armed with 100 missiles are located on the shores of the Persian Gulf. None of the systems were activated or could contain the attack against the oil zone.

Thus, it is believed that the defense capacity promoted by the United States is far from being a reality. They do not have the features they constantly mention and cannot stop small and strategic attacks.

Some experts assure that antiaircraft defense systems are simply not ready to use in a real attack and in situations where the attack has been planned without the enemy being ready.

This statement comes from remembering that US videos look like air defenses if they work, but apparently only when they are being recorded or warned.

Russia, the friendly country of all, has taken action in this controversy. It invites Saudi Arabia to buy its Russian anti-aircraft systems S-300 or S-400, of which there is evidence in Iran and Turkey, of their effective use. An opportunity to sell your fender systems to all parties.
