  • 150 milliliters of water,

  • 250 grams of strawberries,

1. Clean the strawberries well, remove the leaves and chop into small squares.

2. Now, put the water, the strawberries and the sugar in a pot. Mix well and bring to the fire.

3. Next, add the lemon juice and cinnamon. Let cook for approximately 20 minutes.

After this time, evaluate the thickness of the preparation. It is important that you know that when you remove it from the heat, the syrups can thicken a bit.

So when hot, it is not convenient for it to be so dense unless you are going to make jam.

4. Wait a bit and strain the syrup to remove the seeds from the strawberries.

Caramel syrup

Although caramel syrup has high amounts of sugar, making homemade caramel syrup will guarantee that no chemicals or preservatives have been used.

You need to prepare the homemade caramel syrup

  • 40 grams of whipping cream,

  • 90 milliliters of water,

  • 75 grams of sugar.

How to prepare caramel syrup?

1. Make a syrup with the water and sugar first. Bring these ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly so that the sugar melts.

2. Let it boil without stirring.

3. When you see that the edge of the sugar is changing color, move so that the whole mixture takes this color.

Make sure it does not turn black as its flavor would be very bitter. Consider then that the temperature of the preparation should not reach 200 °C so that it does not burn.

4. When all the mixture takes an ocher color, remove from heat.

5. Now, add the cream. This will create a few bubbles at first. Let it go down and with a trowel, incorporate the ingredients well.

If for some reason it crystallizes, you can add a few drops of lemon.
