BLACKPINK's agency YG Entertainment has reported that it has suffered a large amount of losses during its first fiscal period of the year. In this way, everything seems to indicate that the great female K-pop group would not have generated enough profits to save YGE from a possible deficit or even going bankrupt.

In this way, it has been reported that YG Entertainment would be losing more than 60 million dollars in all kinds of associated expenses. Among them, the main ones would lie in the payment of taxes, sanctions and in the contract of experts to work against all kinds of legal accusations that said company currently has.

BLACKPINK fails to save YG Entertainment from potential bankruptcy

Recently, an agreement between YG Entertainment and Louis Vuitton in 2014 was revealed, where the latter company would invest in said South Korean company through a series of restrictions. They detailed that YGE would have to reach a share value higher than $36.83 dollars for LVMH (Louis Vuitton) to buy shares in said company or, instead, it would receive the invested money back with interest of 2%.

In this way, YG Entertainment currently has a share value that does not exceed $19.48, for which it should make a return of more than 60 million dollars to LVMH. Thus, this would mean great losses for what was one of the main K-pop companies.

BLACKPINK would have reported, with their recent world tour, a total income of 65 million dollars, a value that would not include expenses associated with the planning and development of said tour. In this way, everything seems to indicate that one of the great K-pop groups would not be generating enough income to save YG Entertainment from a possible bankruptcy.

The reality is that YGE has a large amount of capital, although all this would mean huge losses for a company that has large annual expenses and does not have enough artists to generate huge profits. Therefore, the entire K-pop community is waiting to see how this South Korean agency will end.
