Red Velvet, BLACKPINK, and TWICE are September's most famous girl bands
The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation or KICR has recently revealed the list of the most famous K-pop girl bands for the month of September. This ranking was based on the analysis of various popularity parameters, such as TV appearances, mentions on social networks and number of internet searches carried out throughout the month.
This ranking would cover dates from August 6 to September 7. In this way, Red Velvet, BLACKPINK, and TWICE have managed to stand out in this ranking with a great difference from the other positions on said popularity list. Thus, the most influential girl bands on the current music scene would be getting to know each other.
Red Velvet, BLACKPINK, And TWICE Dominate September's Most Popular K-pop Girl Group List
In first place, Red Velvet would be ranking with a total of 9,207,195 points. In this way, this girl band would be managing to stand out thanks to its recent return with its famous song Umpah Umpah, which has managed to position itself at the top of the K-pop charts. Therefore, Red Velvet would have managed to have a significant difference from the second position.
In second place, BLACKPINK would be located with a total of 7,704,653 points. In this way, I would highlight that this girl band would not have made any comeback in the month of September, and it would not have made any promotion in South Korea either. Therefore, it is a huge achievement to have achieved the second position of said popularity ranking.
In third place, the famous group TWICE would be located with 7,677,218 points. This girl band would have achieved great popularity thanks to the scandals between Jihyo and Kang Daniel's courtship, and also due to the suspension of activities of member Mina due to her anxiety problems.
Among other girl bands, one can mention MAMAMOO, ITZY, Girls' Generation, Lovelyz, and A Pink. In the image, you can see the complete list, although it would be in Korean language. Even so, in the Twitter post, it is possible to see the name of each group and its respective position in the ranking.
