Preparation of cauliflower with orange
Start by cleaning the skin of the orange very well. Make four cuts and separate the shell, remove as much as possible of the white part.
Take the shell and chop it into strips. Try to make it no thicker than 2 millimeters.
Put water in a pot to prepare the cauliflower. Add salt, cover and wait for it to boil.
Cut the cauliflower into 1-centimeter-thick florets and remove the leaves. Wash and drain until the water reaches a boiling point.
When boiling the water, place the cauliflower pieces very carefully to avoid burns.
When the cauliflower has softened, drain well before moving on.
Place a frying pan over high heat with butter and a little olive oil. Wait for it to be very hot and place the cauliflower bouquets.
In the same pan add the orange juice, with the peel in strips, the almonds and the honey. If you want to give it a spicy touch, this would be the time to add the cayenne pepper.
Add salt and pepper and let the flavors meld for a few minutes while the pan is on medium heat.
When you see that the sauce has reduced a bit, add the cauliflower to sauté it and let it cook for a few more minutes. And that's it!
