Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 delay its premiere for 2023 and 2024
The Covid-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc, especially on the productions of the most anticipated titles in Hollywood.
In this case, the victims were Mission Impossible 7 and 8 which, according to producers Paramount Pictures and Skydance, will be postponed for release.
Mission impossible: premiere of the seventh installment is postponed for the fourth time
It is not a surprise, much less the first time that we see that the new installments of the Ethan Hunt saga are postponed. This time, again due to the pandemic and the increase in positive cases due to the new variant.
Through a statement by the producers, Paramount Pictures and Skydance, they again reported the postponement of the new titles of the "impossible saga". They explained the following:
"After careful consideration, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have decided to postpone the release dates for Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 in response to delays due to the ongoing pandemic."
Now, if there are no other unforeseen events, the premiere of Mission Impossible 7 would be left for July 14, 2023. While, for the eighth installment, we would have to wait much longer, approximately for June 2024.
It should be noted that these are approximate dates, and that, sticking to the trend in which the productions have been involved, there could be more delays.
Filming: Impossible
This is the name that hundreds of social media users have given to the new Mission Impossible movies.
And it is that, it owes it to the large number of postponements that it has had during its filming and production. The first of them was due to Covid-19, in early 2020, resuming in the boreal summer of the same year. In this way, it would end in September of last 2021.
Even, within the period of filming, Tom Cruise himself had his car stolen, being another obstacle during filming. Likewise, the number of positives that the actors of Impossible Mission have suffered is added, sufficient reason for its postponement.
It seems that we still have to wait a little longer to see Ethan Hunt and his team back in action.
