Ingredients

for the cake

  • 250 grams of filo pastry.

  • 2 cubic centimeters of chemical yeast.

  • 250 grams of sugar.

  • 3 eggs.

  • 2 Greek yogurts.

  • 3 cubic centimeters of vanilla essence.

  • Orange zest.

  • 250 milliliters of sunflower oil

For the syrup

  • 3 oranges in juice.

  • 350 milliliters of water.

  • 500 grams of sugar.

Preparation

For the syrup

  1. In a saucepan, place the sugar and water.

  2. Mix until the sugar dissolves completely.

  3. Wait for it to start boiling.

  4. Then, remove from the heat and add the orange juice.

  5. Now wait for it to cool down. Meanwhile, continue with the preparation.

for the cake

  1. Remove the sheets from the filo pastry and bake them at 80°C for at least 10 minutes. It is only required to give it a pre-cooking, so that they are golden is enough.

  2. When they are ready, let them cool and with your hands turn them into crumbs.

  3. Now, in a bowl, combine the yogurt with the orange zest.

  4. Similarly, add the eggs, oil and vanilla essence.

  5. Beat, very well so that you can incorporate the yeast and the phyllo dough. Make sure everything is well integrated before moving on.

  6. Then, take a mold and grease it.
