The daily demands and commitments often lead us to not be able to sleep the 8 hours that we should rest. In general, people consider that the only negative aspect of not sleeping the recommended hours is that later they will get sleepy, however, this is not the case. With regard to diabetes, according to research, glucose cannot be fully tolerated in our body if we sleep less than 6 hours per day, which means that the chances of suffering from type 2 diabetes are high.

As you can see, the consequences of sleeping for a few hours are risky and can lead to illness. It is advisable to sleep 8 hours a day and in the event that you have insomnia problems, you go to a specialist so that they can help you fall asleep.
